Description
Scientific Name: Poicephalus robustus Native Range: Southern Africa The Cape Parrot is a rare and extremely intelligent member of the Poicephalus genus. This species is one of the few parrots that is sexually dimorphic: females retain a vibrant peach-colored forehead into adulthood, while males typically molt into a smooth silver head.
