Scientific Name: Cacatua tenuirostris Native Range: Australia The Slender-Billed Cockatoo, also known as the Long-Billed Corella, is an extremely intelligent medium-sized cockatoo species within the family Cacatuidae. This species is characterized by predominantly white plumage, a reddish-pink facial patch, and an elongated upper mandible that distinguishes it from other cockatoo species. The long, curved bill is adapted for digging and extracting roots, bulbs, and seeds. In the wild, they inhabit grasslands, agricultural areas, open woodlands, and semi-arid regions across southeastern Australia.
