The Green-cheeked Conure is a small parrot species within the family Psittacidae. It is characterized by predominantly green plumage, a maroon tail, blue flight feathers, and a grayish or brownish crown and cheeks. In the wild, Green-cheeked Conures inhabit forested regions, woodland edges, and scrub habitats across parts of central South America. They typically occupy mid-level forest canopies and nest in tree cavities.
